Birla Power Solutions has ventured into branded stores - Power Shoppe that will ensure that quality power products are available to more Indians through a wide network of retail stores. Birla Power has planned retail outlets covering whole of India which are to be managed by franchisees. These stores will have the entire range of Birla Power’s products under one roof.
The Power Shoppe will create an ideal experience for the consumer.
Birla Power Shoppe is an excellent business opportunity for the Unemployed Youth. In order to come closer to the customer, we have decided to make our very own Power Shoppe.

| 1. Criteria for selection of Power Shoppe would be- |
| |

Your willingness to sell the entire range of Birla Power products. |
 |
The location of your shop in terms of visibility, footfall etc. |
 |
Area of the shop- minimum of 200sq.ft. |
 |
These outlets will have exclusively BPSL’s products. |
 |
Prior experience in managing business is preferred but young people without prior experience with strong entrepreneurial spirit will also be encouraged. |

| 2. In case you are interested, our area manager would visit your site. He will take care of the entire paper work formalities. You would require the following: |

Shops and Establishment license. |
 |
Rent agreement. |
 |
Layout of your shop. |
 |
passport size colored photographs. |
 |
An application to be filled & submitted with a cheque of Rs.10,000 as application fees which would be cashed on the approval of application. |

3. Work that needs to be done by the entrepreneur like paint of walls, putting up floor tiles, electricity points. Rest all interiors of the shop will be taken care by the company to give a standard look. The cost would also be borne by Birla Power on sharing basis with the entrepreneur.
4. Branding and promotion will be borne by the company. The entrepreneur needs to purchase our main products that are estimated around Rs.1.25L-1.5L
5. Half of Rent & Décor amount will be borne by the company and the rest by the entrepreneur.
6. Our Power Shoppe franchisee will get an additional benefit of being a service dealer without paying anything extra, for which a normal service dealer needs to give Rs.75,000 for security + spare parts.
7. Supplies- The delivery of goods will be done from our closest depot.
8. Initial Investment of Rs.1.50L will be done by the entrepreneur for the main BPSL products and décor on sharing basis with the company. BPSL will share the cost of rent and décor with the entrepreneur.
9. An agreement would be signed that would bring you and the company into a mutually benefiting relationship. |

| Q1. What do I need to have to create Birla’s Power Shoppe? |

Q3.What else will I need to start running the shop?
You will keep Birla Power products – live as well as dummy. Products dummies will be provided by BPSL.
Q4. Where will I get supplies / stock?
In case of an order- the stock can be supplied to you through our closest depot at the earliest. |

| Q5. What will be my obligations as a Birla preferred Outlet? |

The shop must be vacant. |

You will take care of the electricity fittings and proper plaster and paint of walls and floor tiles |

You will stock and deal in products singularly offered by BPSL in the outlet. |

You will have to sign an agreement bringing us in a mutually benefiting relationship. |

| Q6. How will Birla Power support me? |

The company is willing to share the rent- Operating Expenses as the case may be…varying from 30-50% of the shop for the initial period of 6-12 months and more depending on the business growth plans.The amount not to exceed above Rs.10,000 max per month… |

Birla Power will give its support like promotional, technological, soft skills as well as service workshops. |

BPSL would give you 50 letter heads and 100 visiting cards for you to get a start… |

A complete pre-launch to post-launch marketing and branding strategy will be developed. |

| Q7. What are the products for display; who decides would sell & what should be displayed? |

| Products of your choice can also be displayed depending upon the sale of that product in your area. |

Q8. What is the cost of dummies and requirement?
In case you need to display products, you may display a dummy model in place of a live one. The cost of dummies will be borne by BPSL.
Q9. What will be the time to get the shop ready after signing the contract?
Once application is approved and the location has been refurbished as per requirement, it would take BPSL maximum 7 days to make the Power Shoppe go!
Q10. What would be the sale support that would be provided by the company?
A sales person will be allocated area wise who would give sale support for initial few months.
Q11. How would you give your service support?
BPSL would give a service guide and a tool kit. In case of any complaint, the company would take initiative to repair the product.
Q12. Will there be a provision for exchange of products in case they are not fast moving ones?
The products if not required for your region can be replaced by another product having the same price within 60 days of launch of Power Shoppe.
